There are changes being made to the way that Special Educational Needs (now referred to as ‘Additional Learning Needs’) will be planned and catered for in schools from 2023. In readiness for this, some schools are making changes. An example being the way in which meetings with parents and pupils are held. At Riverbank School, we already adapt our plans to ensure we meet the needs of each learner and therefore, the implementation of the new recommendations has been quite smooth. You will be informed of all changes and how they may affect your child as things move forward.
